MultiChuck MMY provides

cost-effective productivity

Our award-winning MultiChuck MMY brings a host of advantages to the self-centring of square and round parts on vertical and horizontal machining centres, milling machines and grinders. Precision rapid clamping and short set-up times are achieved due to the inherent rigidity and accuracy of the chuck units.

The concentric clamping system offers a cost-effective route to more productive manufacturing, and an improved Return on Investment (ROI) from the capital invested from your machine tools. Unlike traditional side lock/unlock units the simple top face operation of the MultiChuck MMY means that the chucks can be tightly packed on to a base plate, increasing the density of the workpieces loaded on the machine’s table to maximise the running time of the spindle.

ZeroClamp® clamping system offers significant advantages

The new ZeroClamp® zero point clamping system is designed to significantly reduce set-up times and increase machining efficiency. Using the face and taper HSK spindle tooling principle ZeroClamp® can achieve a repeatability of +/- 2.5 micron, around 10 times more accurate than existing systems.

This principle also removes any machining induced vibration, minimizes all thermal effects and compensates for hole misalignments of up to +/- 0.1 mm as the tapers always compensate towards the centre of the clamping position.

GET MORE PRODUCTIVITY

If you are already pushing your machining centre to its maximum limits and the work is still queuing up, the IRAM 2000 Module System patented modular vices for vertical and horizontal machining centres is a cost-effective alternative to the capital outlay required to purchase another machine.

Part of IRAM’s range of modular vices, the Module Cube 2000 for horizontal machining centres and the Module Vertical Vice 2000 for vertical machining centres are among the most flexible available.
