Load more productivity with Tri-Grip
|
Designed for use on either vertical or horizontal machining centres, the Lexair Tri-Grip collet closer maximises the raw material loading capacity of any machining centre.
Featuring a compact design with three closers integrated into one body the Tri-Grip unit has simplified hydraulic plumbing and an accessible-from-the-top collet locking screw which allows the part to be correctly orientated. With a maximum working pressure of 5000 psi and a drawtube force of 1.1 times the applied pressure, the Tri-Grip units provide ample grip for any machine shop’s workholding needs.

ZEROCLAMP IN PRINT
Thanks to the highly accurate repeatability of the ZeroClamp® system parts can be unloaded and reloaded with the minimum of fuss. This new catalogue details the whole product range.
The simple design uses just a few high quality stainless or corrosion resistant steel components so it is very robust and is unaffected by swarf or coolant ingress, the pots can be quickly cleaned out with a blast from a standard airline gun.
Avoiding all the disadvantages of a hydraulic system, the smart design of the Leader ZeroClamp® system means that the units are around half the height of any alternative zero point fixtures, which allows the machine tool to keep more of its working envelope capacity.
The typical use of zero point fixturing involves manual pallets, which improve efficiency by allowing parts to be loaded and set-up outside of the machine tool. However, the full application and benefits of the Leader ZeroClamp® system is only really limited to the imagination of the engineer considering its use.
