Join us at Seco’s free to attend ‘Inspiration through Innovation’ event, which is being held at the company’s facilities on the 24 and 25 September 2014. Running from 9.30am until 5pm, it will bring together the latest innovative and proven products and solutions from across the industry, showcased in one venue over both days.

Workholding solutions from ZeroClamp, Hainbuch and CARVEsmart will be demonstrated at Seco’s impressive facilities. The recently launched Leader ZeroClamp zero point clamping system has been designed to significantly reduce set-up times and increase machining efficiency. The Patent-registered system provides an effective route to producing more components, quicker and at a lower cost. A number of features set this reliable and robust workholding solution apart from other competitor systems.

Just one of the technically advanced offerings from Hainbuch, Jaw Module is a compact modular system solves many workholding problems. It is small, flexible, can be quickly changed, and covers a large clamping range. It is said to be the best 3-in-1 solution for ID, OD and jaw clamping.

The Patented CARVEsmart quick-change vice jaw system has been developed to simplify set-ups for production and toolroom vices by using a dovetail interface to quickly and accurately locate and secure the jaws.

Preparation isn''t everything

Our new centring vice has been specifically designed to further enhance the productivity of multi-axis machining techniques. Part of our ZeroClamp range, the 80 mm centric vice can be accurately secured to the machine tool’s table, or any other workholding interface, either with the serrated multi-point clamping rail or via the zero point clamping console.

Specially developed forms on the jaws avoid jaw lift; they pull down as up to 17 kN of clamping pressure is applied to the workpiece. At this pressure, most materials can be securely held without any stamping or raw material preparation removing the need to invest in any material preparation equipment.
