Join us at the Northern Manufacturing & Electronics show, the largest exhibition dedicated to serving the needs of manufacturing and electronics industries in the North of England. The free to attend event, which is being held at Event City, Manchester on the 1 and 2 October 2014, is easily accessible to visitors from the North.. Running from 9.30am until 4.30pm, it will bring together the latest innovative and proven products and solutions from across the industry, showcased in one venue for two days.

Workholding solutions from ZeroClamp and Hainbuch will be demonstrated on our Stand (F79). The recently launched Leader ZeroClamp zero point clamping system has been designed to significantly reduce set-up times and increase machining efficiency. The Patent-registered system provides an effective route to producing more components, quicker and at a lower cost. A number of features set this reliable and robust workholding solution apart from other competitor systems.

Just one of the technically advanced offerings from Hainbuch, Jaw Module is a compact modular system solves many workholding problems. It is small, flexible, can be quickly changed, and covers a large clamping range. It is said to be the best 3-in-1 solution for ID, OD and jaw clamping.

The recently extended TOPlus Mini range features significant real-world benefits. This new chuck features a mass reduction of 38 per cent, is one third shorter and one third smaller in diameter. This means reduced energy consumption during operation and better cutting tool accessibility.

Thanks to the reduced mass and size the choice of suitable tools is much broader. Also, the tools used can be shorter and therefore more stable – for both the main and sub-spindles. This is particularly key where installation space is limited and in batch production operations where part-to-part consistency is vital. TOPlus Mini is ideal for lowering energy consumption, providing dynamic spindle acceleration and shorter cycle times to lower the cost per workpiece.
