In order to support a the recently launched Leader ZeroClamp zero point fixturing system, as well as the steady flow of new products from its major principals, Tamworth-based Leader Chuck Systems has appointed a new Technical Sales Agent. Jason Hutt will represent the specialist workholding company in the South and South East of England.
Having completed detailed product training with Leader, Jason Hutt is looking forward to supporting existing customers within his geographic area as well as developing new business opportunities with the Leader product range. Covering Kent, East and West Sussex, Surrey and Berkshire, as well as parts of Wiltshire and Dorset. Jason Hutt says: “I am looking forward to presenting Leader Chuck’s award-winning product range to customers in my area. As a workholding specialist Leader has an enviable reputation in the engineering sector, in terms of the quality of the products and the high levels of professional service applied to each and every customer. I already introduced the recently launched ZeroClamp system to a number of advanced industrial companies that have shown significant interest in the accuracy and efficiency gains that can be achieved.”
He joins Will Hare, who covers Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, East Anglia, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. Jason Hutt has over 25 years of engineering experience within a diverse range of industry sectors, including aerospace, motorsport, medical and general precision machining. Having completed a mechanical craft engineering apprenticeship covering subcontract machining, setting and making fixtures after he moved into technical tooling sales and application engineering working for HR Pearce, Mitsubishi and SGS Carbide Tools.
He adds: “From a cutting tool perspective, I have always had to consider each and every aspect of the machining process from spindle tooling to the fixturing of the raw material or workpiece as well as the NC programming, as each affects the end result. They are all good production engineering skills that will benefit existing and potential customers.”
Mark Jones concludes: “With the new ZeroClamp range we have even more productive options aimed at increasing OEE (overall equipment efficiency) for manufacturing companies facing fixturing/workholding issues.
